Tuesday at 3 PM to be exact. It's all over the pfsense blogs and twitter tweets. How could someone miss this?

Don't want to come off sounding rude, but why not a sticky?

If this keeps coming up could we have a locked sticky that only mods/devs ect could post into to give us the latest news?

I believe there was a sticky back when this sub-forum was created in the Alpha-Alpha days.  Seems since its gone Beta and now RC that it was removed.

To refresh any new readers, the answer given by the developers state in sum and substance, its ready when its ready.

In regards to the OP's question about ready for production, the following is relevant:

http://blog.pfsense.org/?p=585

And to add, the RC1 download link from that blog is the stable one that could be used in production, newer RC1 snapshots are use at your own risk.
