Timmy1605, sprichst Du zufällig auch Englisch? Das würde die Kommunikation mit Databeestje etwas erleichtern, er ist Holländer und kann mit Englisch mehr anfangen als mit Deutsch. Wäre großartig  Wink

IE7 is in many ways as horrible as IE6. You'll find pages that look completely different in IE7 and IE8, in fact one of our customers has a page that only works in IE6 and IE7 correct and in NO other browser, not even in IE8. IE8 behaves exactly like FF, Opera, Safari,... so the solution to the problem is either Update IE7 to 8 or use another browser or use another theme. Honestly, IE6/7 doesn't understand lots of css, has issues with alphablending and pngs or just doesn't follow webstandards.

It's just a single tickbox at system>advanced to enable ssh. After that you will be able to copy the files up using a tool like winscp or filezilla. Logon using user "root" and the webgui password. Just copy the extracted files to /usr/local/www/themes/<themename> and the theme will be selectable at system>general from the dropdownmenu.

Not yet completely. I'm not even sure that I have redrawn all the needed buttons (yes, this theme features a new set of buttons too). When it gets commited consider it being clean of rubbish  Wink

That theme will only work on pfsense 2.0 as it really changes the complete colorset which is not doable in the 1.2 branch. I stored the theme on the blog-site as it is too big to be attached here: http://blog.pfsense.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/pfdns.zip

Have fun.

Hey, nice work!  Cheesy

So which part of the css needed to be tweaked to move this text around?  Wink

Afaik this object doesn't use a css container and therefor is not movable or themeable. I'm no coder either. I'm just playing around with CSS and moving pixels. Would be nice to have this element themeable too though. I'll have a look and bring this up in the devchannel so we hopefully can theme it soon.

Well, looks like we are not allowed to add your theme to the official distribution due to copyright issues with the used logos. Neither the freebsd logo is freely usable without permission nor the firefox and chrome logo I guess. I have to change my hackathon theme too now. See http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/documents/Guidelines.shtml for further details on the freebsd trademarks. Maybe you can strip them from your theme?

I like the one with the grey freebsd logo better. I'll work on a new theme during the hackathon (which will start this saturday). I'm going to clean up the new theme from old files as much as possible. Once this is done you can have a look at this to see which files have been removed and clean up your theme as well then.

Great Job! I really like it. We should include it with the official builds to be selectable  Smiley

The wizard pages and the login page will use a different css if available in 2.0. see the original nervecenter 2.0 theme. You'll see a login.css and a wizard.css. Those are there for being able to use different backgoundwallpapers for example.
