I got onto my computer this morning to find my internet had been dropped, no wan or LAN or webGUI, router was still on, so i turned on the monitor that was plugged into the router there were messages being spammed and i could no longer type anything, it completely locked up.  it was spamming this:

em0: discard frame w/o packet header
em0: discard frame w/o packet header
em0: discard frame w/o packet header
em0: discard frame w/o packet header
re0: discard frame w/o packet header
em0: discard frame w/o packet header

and it was randomly interchanging re0 and em0.

im using 1.2.1-RC1 built on Mon Aug 4 22:05:47 EDT 2008

If it's something you can replicate, it would be good to report to the freebsd-net list. This is a FreeBSD issue of some sort (likely driver related), we don't have the resources to resolve OS issues like this.
