CARP with dsl

i am so close to working this out with dsl on paper. i dont know if it would actually work and i have at least one hangup that i can think of.
has anyone gotten this to work with one dsl line and two pfsense boxes? public ip, private ip, it doesnt matter as i have both.

Yes, I have DSL and it works fine. It will require atleast 3 public Ip addresses for one carp cluster.
However this has all been spoken about in even more detail scattered throughout the forum.
