Maaf agan2 master semua. Saya baru kenal pfsense ini baru seminggu "Masih Newbi". Saya sdh instal PFSense 2.0.1-RELEASE (i386)

{pfSense-2.0.1-RELEASE-i386.iso.gz versi tgl 14 Des 2011}.

Saya sdh ikuti tahapan dari Omz anto_digit. Instal squid,SGuard, dan lusca. CP berjalan lancar dngan BW down 256 dan Up 64. Tp proxynya seperti tidak jalan (Padahal lihat di SERVICE semua status Running), karna setelah dites buka youtube dengan video yg sama di client lain tidak ada perubahan dengan client yg sebelumnya (tetap lama + buffer).

Dimanakah letak kesalahnnya??? mohon bantuannya dari master semua......

waktu install pfsense pastikan berjalan normal semuwa.. termasuk config ip wan dan lan.

saran posisi modem modem bridge dial liwat mesin kecuali load balancing 1 modem mode bridge, satunya lagi dhcp atau static.

squid -> pastikan berjalan normal.
squid guard sekalian config pastikan berjalan normal -> restat -> pastikan berjalan normal.
lusca -> pastikan berjalan normal -> cek squid guard kalu stop, start lalu save -> cek dan pastikan berjalan normal -> lalu restat.

cek lagi klo masih ada yang tidak running berarti kesalan pada install squid pertama kali...

pengistalan squid saya anggap sudah running semua, sekarang terserah mau di tambah item-itemnya.
lihat dan pastikan versinya suport atau tidak ke 2.0 atau 2.0.1

NB:
*kalau mau update squid atau ada updatan terbaru hati-hati soalnya sebelum di restat baik-baik saja sehabis di restat config langsung eror bakkan tidak bisa satart up.

*kalau mau restat jangan langsung tombol restat, atau power bisa-bisa ada file korup atau hilang.

*restat atau matikan masin proxy pfsense harus melaui prosedur.

execute

ligthsquid - squidguard - lusca - dan squid coba diuninstall semua melalui webgui ...

lalu cek melalui command shell :

pkg_info

jika masih ada paket diatas, uninstall secara manual

pkg_delete -rv namapaket

hapus juga termasuk paket perl ...

Kemudian ulangi install ulang sesuai urutan :
1. squid 2.7 ---> pastikan jalan
2. ligthsquid ---> pastikan jalan
3. squidguard ---> pastikan jalan
4. lusca ---> pastikan jalan

Thanks semuanya. Tp aku sdh install ulang pfsense dr awal. Settingan yg lalu sdh hancur stelah saya OPREK "Maklum blm tau sok maen oprek" he..he..he...

Maaf bung anto_DIGIT. Klo utk pfsense 2.0.1 ketika install kernel tidak ada pilihan "uniprocessor kernel (one processor) tp hanya ada 3 pilihan :
1. Symetric Multyprocess....
2. Embedded kernel....
3. Developer kernel....
Saya pilih yang no. 1 (Symetric...) apakah installan ini tdk berpengaruh terhadap hasil instalasinya karna saya memakai mesin

Saya pake pfsense 2.0 release, Dual Wan, WAN untuk browsing dan lain lain sedang OPT hanya untuk game
Sy update dari room mas, firewall rule, nat, alias dan ts pake yg tgl 18 nopember dan update pfsense yg tgl 31 okt.

Setelah itu sy pisahkan gatewaynya seperti di bawah ini,
Nah pertanyaan saya,
game tetap masih terganggu linenya padahal sudah terpisah bahkan ketika line opt putus game masih bisa jalan, seperti game LS dan lainnya baik saat download dgn idm bahkan video jg terganggu gamenya, padahal tdak ada saya set FO dan LB.

Mohon bantuannya mas Anto.  Jadi gmn sebenarnya misahin antara game dan lainnya agar game tidak pake line sendiri dan tidak terganggu dgn  yg lain.

sebelumnya saya berterimakasih atas tutor yg telah diberikan oleh pak Anto_DIGIT, sangat membantu...
saya terapkan tutor tersebut di PFsense 2.0.1 Release AMD64

tapi saya mendapati sedikit masalah...
awalnya mesin dapat online stabil sekitar 1 bulan yang lalu, namun kemarin mendadak mesin menjadi tidak stabil,
sering HALT tiba2, saya coba cekdi bios, smw temperatur normal, di bawah 45 derajat, linw voltage pun tidak ada masalah,
kemudian saya kembali jalankan mesin pfsense, berhasil online, saya cek d dashboard, RAM masih dalam batas wajar, tidak sampai memakan resource swap, dan hardisk masih lega, namun mesin hanya mampu bertahan selama 1 jam kurang lebih.
lalu saya coba untuk fresh reinstall PFsense, namun masalah yg sama kembali muncul,
saya sudah coba tukar RAM, Hardsik dan PSU dari komputer lain, namun masalah yg sama tetap tidak teratasi,
mohon pencerahannya.

jika setelah saya updateke patch untuk 2.0.1 masalah masih belum teratasi, apakah berarti trouble pada mesin pfsense saya ada pada hardwre?

Saya pake pfsense 2.0 release, Dual Wan, WAN untuk browsing dan lain lain sedang OPT hanya untuk game
Sy update dari room mas, firewall rule, nat, alias dan ts pake yg tgl 18 nopember dan update pfsense yg tgl 31 okt.

Setelah itu sy pisahkan gatewaynya seperti di bawah ini,
Nah pertanyaan saya,
game tetap masih terganggu linenya padahal sudah terpisah bahkan ketika line opt putus game masih bisa jalan, seperti game LS dan lainnya baik saat download dgn idm bahkan video jg terganggu gamenya, padahal tdak ada saya set FO dan LB.

queue utk game jangan dikosongkan, nanti masuknya ke default ... default disitu prioritasnya dan BWnya kecil

Gimana cara buat queenya mas anto,
ini saya ga pake TS, pernah sy coba buat ts  yg seperrti mas, kok di log banyak error, sy buat ts wan  sama dengan ts untuk opt. Apakah semua quee yg di rule lan itu kan berdasarkan TS? jika ga pake TS gmn ? Mohon pencerahan mas anto. Dan gmn sih cara pemisahan line yg benar agar game tidak terganggu dengan yg lain. Mohon bantuan mas anto.
