By default, there is no IPv6 support in any of pfSense 2.0, RC3 or otherwise. You need to gitsync databeestje's fork in order to enable any IPv6 functionality.

This thread is a great place to start.

It gives you an overview of setting up your tunnel and how to gitsync his repo.

databeestje's IPv6 branch is the way to go. It will be in 2.1.

That said, the underlying binary software is the same on both - the daemons (like OpenVPN, DHCP, etc) for IPv6 support are all there. It's just the GUI bits and related functions that aren't in 2.0 proper. That's why it's so easy to overlay databeestje's code and have it work without any hasstle updating to a custom firmware image or build.

Oopps, too true Jim. Didn't mean for that to come out like there was nothing at all in pfsense, but that's sure the way it sounded. I just thought he meant by straight downloading the RC3 build, what could he expect to see IPv6 wise.

Thanks for your responses, I will try to follow instructions in the link provided by tebeve  Smiley

Edit:  I gitsynced using https://github.com/smos/pfsense-ipv6.git and it worked beautifully.
