Hello,

We have a production Dell T 610 running HyperV R2 role in Window 2008 R2 Server.
We are planning to install pfsense as Vm in this server.
Since I havent see many thread regarding HyperV, I wider if there are any specific details that we should consider.

Best regards

Thank you for your answer!

So, should I stop consider about pfsense in HyperV? Shame, if so, because we have this new machine.

I need to run packages (IPS, Squid, AV, Antispam), so my Alix is not an option, I think.

Should I consider run it in a Esxi host?

Best regards

The most common problem that I have rasd about, is the nic speed in HyperV. Even though I will not use pfsense for routing networks, just Internet traffic (WANs), I ave read that the bigger speed that legacy adapters used on HyperV is 22mb/s.
