Hi All,
can pfsense limit the bandwidth for each user connected?
for example I have 2 Mbps Internet connection
I only want each user on LAN only have 256Kbps connection to internet.

Don't know if there is a possibility in pfSense "Traffic Shaper" do do this for every user/IP.

But you can realize that with CaptivePortal.
If you use freeradius2 as backend for CP you can enter all MAC addresses in freeradius2, then enable MAC authentication on CP and then you can limit bandwidth for every MAC address in freeradius2.

This sounds much better than CP and/or freeradius with less overhead!

Limiters work great.  I use these to keep people on my guest wifi from using more than 2/2, and people on my main connection from using more than 20/20.
