I have a pfsense router with 10 virtual ip's running pptp.  I have another pfsense router behind that router with a 1 to 1 nat from one of the virtual pi's.  I have pptp enabled on that router and as long as I'm on the internal subnet, I can pptp into the router using the internal ip.  I cannot pptp in from outside using the nated ip address.  Could someone point me in the right direction on this?

I can only suggest to make sure GRE protocol and port 1723 are allowed/forwarded. I have had a situation where 'all' does not include GRE.

@rmathew1973

    Did you ever get this working ?   I think I am fighting something similar..

    Two old XP boxes that were networked through separate Linksys RV-042 boxes before.

No, I never have found a resolution.  I would be interested in someone posting one though.  Still looking

Same problem here Wink
Just discovered only ONE client was able to connect:
client -> pfSense (forwarded GRE/1723 to external PPTP server) -> VPN -> network
however, noone else.

Seems to me like GRE is blocked / not forwarded on pfSense.
