Hi everybody.
I'm just a new for pfSense. Now I have a plan to upgrade pfSense version 1.2.3-release to pfSense version
2.0. But I'm not sure about HW spec as below that support in compatibility list or not.
Could you please advice about detail as below that are compatibility with pfsense v 2.0?
> Dell OptiPlex(TM) 390MT
> 2nd Generation Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 Processor (3.30GHz,3MB)
> BIOS Utilities Set-Up (EUP Enable)
> Intel(R) H61 Express Chipset 1
> Integrated Conexant CX20641 High Definition Audio Codec 1
> Integrated Realtek LOM 1
> Integrated Intel HD Graphics 2000(when CPU selected with Core i CPUs)
> Integrated Intel HD Graphics(when CPU selected with Cel/Pentium CPUs)
> 4GB (1x4GB) Non-ECC DDR3 1333MHz SDRAM Memory
> 500GB 7200 RPM 3.5" SATA Hard Drive
> OptiPlex(TM) MT Chassis Mainstream Heatsink (65watts)
> 16X Max DVD + /- RW with Dual Layer Write Capabilities for MT & DT
> Dell(TM) E1912H 18.5" Monitor with LED backlight
> Intel(R) HD Graphics 2000 Integrated Graphics
> Broadcom NetXtreme 10/100/1000 PCIe Gigabit Networking Card, Full Height ==> Dual
> Broadcom NetXtreme 10/100/1000 PCIe Gigabit Networking Card ==> 2
> Internal Dell Business Audio Speaker
Thank you so much.

You may need this tweak for the Broadcom NICs:

Yes it should all work fine with pfSense 2.0.1.
You might find you need to do the Broadcom network card tweak. You might not. It's hard to say since you have one dual port card and two single port cards. I would guess that you will need the tweak.

Broadcom NIC should be fine. I used a dual port Broadcom NIC for a previous build without any issues or tweaks.
