I just changed my PPTP authentication from local to RADIUS via Windows 2008 Server.

Currently only using Authentication and not Accounting.  Users are logging in fine with one issue.  If you disconnect and try to reconnect within apx 5 minutes, you cannot connect.  A PCAP trace on pfSense shows no RADIUS requests are sent during the time you cannot connect.  However, I defined the Win Server as an Authentication Server for pfSense and I can perform the Authentication Test and see the RADIUS request and response.

Is there a timer somewhere or is this by design?

Thanks

While the behavior described in my previous post is consistent, I have discovered that it gets worse if someone has a PPTP session in progress and another user tries to establish a connection.  I get the RADIUS request only occassionally if I keep trying.
