I have had the PPTP server running previously on other versions and it works no problem, allowing me into the network to access the GUI web interface.

However, on 2.0.1 I just cannot get the thing to work!

I have tried a PC on the same WAN network as a test (so not through my external router).

WAN PFsense 192.168.2.10
PC on same LAN 192.168.2.3

PFsense LAN - 192.168.10.1
PFsense DHCP 192.168.10.30 - 192.168.10.254

PPTP IP - 192.168.10.9
PPTP Start IP - 192.168.10.10

PPTP Firewall - PPTP in to Lan Subnet, Pass.

I just dont get get a connection when trying from my XP box, it times out.

Is there an issue with PPTP with this release?

With PPTP "listening", I would hve thought I could port scan the WAN's IP from the same side as the WAN and see ports open - I don't?

Where do I look in the GUI for the PPTP logs?

Ah - it all becomes clear!

MY WAN has a 'private' IP assigned to it from my router which manages my ADSL connections.

There is a firewall rule which blocks all 'private' IP's from access the WAN.  This is disabled on the WAN interfaces page.
