generaly, would it be a good idea to run tor on a firwall system? ofcourse it would simplyfy matters for internal users wanting to anonymize traffic, but on the other hand arent you opening uo to a lot of security riscs? what do people think?

It very well could add a security risk if the package is not done correctly.

This would be cool, not having to configure every app to properly use Tor without leaking dns and such.  However, I personally put Tor in the "cool" catagory but not necessarily "useful" (to me anyway).  But, if someone wants to post a bounty for it, I'll pitch in.  It would be a weight off one's mind, being able to offer wifi without worrying about what unscrupulous activities that wardriver or neighbor may be getting into from your IP.

I tried to use TOR with http://torpark.nfshost.com/ several times but it was awefully slow on my idle 16 mbit/s connection. Not sure if this is related to this software but if TOR is that slow (atm) creating a package is not really worth the effort imo.
