Hit the wrench icon in the top right of the page, then you'll see that button.

Thanks.

I need significantly more coffee.  I had that screen open while I posted this >.>
(Is there a package for installing more coffee in the admin?)

webGUI / Where did the clear log button go?

I feel like an idiot, but I can't seem to find the clear log button.
I see the reset all log files button in the settings, but I can't seem to find any soft of clear log button on the individual log pages anymore.

General Questions / Re: Any way to install Nano on 2.3?

If you don't know vi maybe try Diagnostics > Edit File??

I say "don't know" because if you knew it you'd love it. :P

Vi is like a smelly hobo.  I'm sure it's nice, but from the little bits I've seen of it, I don't want to get to know it.

Besides, this is for use over SSH.

nano is available in the package list now, including on 2.3 release. I just added dnstop so that will be available within the next hour or so.

Beautiful, thanks :)
Dyslexia + Vi is not a good combination, heh.

I feel trapped every time I have to type "vi" or "vim" and then have to fumble for my cheatsheet.
Is there any way to install Nano?

Hehe.... Learn it, Live it, Love it :)

The only good vi command is :q!

I like Nano.  8)

General Discussion / Re: Can anyone help me pick a new switch?
« on: April 20, 2016, 08:28:04 am »
Those brocade ones do look nice.

Only thing is I'm guessing they're not passively cooled, though if they're as inexpensive and reliable as that, I could afford to replace it if one burns out vs a cisco one.

They have fans but they are not too loud. I built a comm room in my basement so the noise is not that big of a deal but even when I open the door to the room the noise is like a low rumble, rather than a high pitched winding noise. I guess if you really wanted to tinker with them you could replace them with some ultra-quite fans.

Ditto on everything that Fohdeesha said. These switches are so devalued in the used market it like I just want to keep buying them for projects that I may have in the future that don't necessary require a service contract.

I'm guessing there's no option for new, and it's all used equipment, right?

DHCP and DNS / Re: Two DHCP pools one with specific options
« on: April 13, 2016, 12:34:36 pm »
He should be be able to do this if he knows the MAC addresses of the Devices he needs in the secondary pool, no?

Blacklist those MACs from the primary pool, and make a secondary pool with the option set and which whitelists the same MACs?

Is there a reason that wouldn't work?

(Provided he's not using a /24, but rather a /16)

(It wouldn't be ideal by a long shot, but possible?)

DHCP and DNS / Re: @ Symbol For NameCheap Dynamic DNS

As noted in the ticket, with that patch, it allows the @ symbol, and I can also confirm that it correctly updated the IP at Namecheap's end.

webGUI / View full version on mobile
« on: April 13, 2016, 12:08:54 pm »
No matter which Mobile browser I use on Android (Dolphin, Chrome, or whatever the build in is on ASOP 4.3), toggling desktop mode and mobile mode makes no difference to if I get the mobile version of the WebGUI.  Is there any setting I can change internally to not serve the mobile version when it requests the desktop site?

Have you tried with "@." instead of just "@"?

The input validation is the same on 2.3 as 2.2 for that field.

Yes.  If I put a @ in the hostname field, regardless of the period, I get

Quote
The following input errors were detected:

    The hostname contains invalid characters.

If I put "@.words" that works, but "@" does not and "@." does not.

But since the update URL is

Code: [Select]
https://dynamicdns.park-your-domain.com/update?host=<host>&domain=<domain>&password=<pass>&ip=<ip>
The @ symbol needs to be accepted for the hostname alone.

Hmm, unless I'm missing it, I also can't set a custom date range.
(which was useful for comparing to the ISP's billing period)

DHCP and DNS / @ Symbol For NameCheap Dynamic DNS
« on: April 13, 2016, 08:24:30 am »
In 2.3 I can't seem to put the @ symbol for the hostname section of a dynamic DNS entry.
It tells me that there's invalid characters.

I already opened a bug report, but in the mean time is there any workaround?
