Virtual pfSense appliances for Cloud - AWS and Azure
« on: March 04, 2017, 03:42:36 pm »

Netgate offers official pfSense virtual appliances on two major cloud providers.

- pfSense on Amazon Web Services Marketplace

- pfSense on Microsoft Azure

Feel free to ask questions about our virtual pfSense appliances!

Hello all

I have a problem with the pfsense virtual appliance available on the Azure Marketplace.

I work for a company referenced as CSP at Microsoft.
When I try to create a VM from the MarketPlace, I get this error message, which says (in French) :

"This offer or item is not available for Azure Cloud Providers Subscriptions"
(See attached file)

An idea on where can the problem come from ??

Thanks in advance
Regards
Olivier

Hi,

In which region are you trying to start the VM in? It's available in North Europe & West Europe.
I believe you have my stapler.

Hi

Sorry for the response time.

I'm trying to register a pfSense VM from West Europe.
I think this is not a location problem.

As I wrote before, I think the problem is than I try to create a new pfSense appliance from a CSP Azure account.

I have created an another personnal Azure account and I can deploy pfSense Azure VM from it.

I hope you will understand what I try to explain  :)

Regards
Olivier

Hi,
I have looked into this extensively this week, its been a painful journey.

It is not possible - https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=112072.0
Search that page for "CSP"

I wanted the same to terminate multiple VPN's to single endpoint using Meraki for my on-premise offices. I have ended up migrating the workloads i need to PAYG.
