Save/restore rules/order via command line?
« on: February 14, 2018, 04:13:29 pm »
I wonder is there a way to make a backup of pfSense FW rules and their order and then later on restore them all via command line (e.g. crontab) ?

Thx

You can just save (backup) the config. Then you can play/test changes and restore the saved config afterwards if your changes do not work out/are not required. The rules (and all other settings) are stored there.

What are you wanting to achieve?
As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."
