upgrading 1.2.2 -> 1.2.3RC1
« on: September 23, 2009, 06:48:50 am »
Hi,

A few questions.

I've been "on the latest version" for some time, is there any info on scheduled release dates somewhere?
Also I would like to see some more detailed changelog and version history, is is available somewhere? I found a blog post with comments on 1.2.3RC1 but not really a comprehensive resource of the kind I was looking for.

I tried earlier upgrading a 1.2.2 system to 1.2.3RC1 remote and failed and system was rendered unbootable afterwards, think I wrote something about it here.

I'd like to know if it's supposed to be able to do an upgrade from 1.2.2 to 1.2.3RC1 and if so how that is to be performed maximizing success rate, it would be nice to not have to backup all RRD data etc and move it around. I guess there are advantages doing a clean reinstall too, but nontheless I'd like to try upgrading first and reverting to reinstall should it fail.

TIA,
