Forum vs. Mailing Lists
« on: November 07, 2005, 02:11:39 pm »
All,

Are there any plans to retire the mailing lists in favor of the forums at some point?  I definitely find this is a much more effective method of communication with the community.

No, they will coexist. You'll be able to get help here or there. Time will show where the larger userbase will listen and more audience usually means faster response but it's pretty up to the user what he prefers.

The "mailing list" is part of the reason i turned away from monowall.  I like the forum interaction more.  Just feels like i can get better support.

I agree but I also see that others can disagree with us.
As long as the Devs can keep both forum and mailing lists it's good because they can keep everybody happy :).
Cheers

We have both worlds.

Everyone can be happy in one way or another.   Now if someone suggests we open a bbs then I am going to scream.  But until then, have fun with either or. ;)
