Can't access LAN from pptp
« on: April 27, 2015, 01:43:46 pm »
I've setup a WAN pptp and 2 two different LANs ( and
I've set the pptp on and client pptp  range for

When connecting to the PPTP VPN from outside via WAN I connect fine  and can even ping ip address on LAN but I can't connect to any other port like 22.
If I try to ssh into the VPN box directly I am able to connect to LAN ports but from VPN (pptp) it's not letting me.
I've even disabled the firewall just to make sure that some rules were blocking it but to no success.

Any ideas or solutions to this problem ?

As doktornotor noted, PPTP sucks and really shouldn't be considered secure any any shape or fashion.  A drunken cat with an abacus could crack the encryption in minutes.

First thing is post a screen capture your rules.  WAN LAN1, LAN2, and PPTP (or whatever they're called).
Second, look through your firewall logs and see if the firewall is blocking the packets.,_but_I_cannot_pass_traffic_into_my_internal_networks

And remember.  PPTP is not a secure protocol.
