You'll need a keyboard attached. Hit F11 to chose boot device
after you power on the unit.

The Delete key will take you into BIOS should you need to make
changes there.

OpenVPN / Re: HELP NEEDED - OPENVPN NO LAN ACCESS!!***

Try the "IPv4 Local network(s)" setting for your VPN server.

IPv4 networks that will be accessible from the remote endpoint. Expressed as a comma-separated list of one or more CIDR ranges. This may be left blank if not adding a route to the local network through this tunnel on the remote machine. This is generally set to the LAN network.

I have reinstalled 2.4.0-R with ZFS and restored my previous config file. I reset pfBlockerNG.
I will report any of the previous symptoms if the occur.

I just reinstalled with 2.4.0-R. Went with ZFS this time. Restored config and reset pfBlockerNG.
I also set the tunable kern.ipc.soacceptqueue back to it's original value of 128. Have fingers
crossed.

I might add that reinstalling and restoring from a config file was one of the least painful things
I've done in a while. Well done pfSense team!!

Thanks for that report AhnHEL. I plan on doing the same thing tomorrow morning.

The instructions say yes, 2 sticks.

I would believe the installer may be programmed to use config.xml if it exists.
I'll let you know tomorrow as I need to do this also.

I made the edits in this post:

https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=137103.msg754338#msg754338

Now my pfSense isn't locking up as I had reported before.

BreeOge,

Could you post the edits you made to the index.php file please? I found it but am unsure what to comment out.

Also the changed I made to the tunable kern.ipc.soacceptqueue did not stop the crash.

jimp

Indeed it was set to 128. I added the tunable and set it to 4096 and applied. I'm doing this via openVPN connection. Do I need to reboot it?
