Remove user certificate
« on: September 11, 2013, 10:33:40 am »
Hi everybody,

I'm not an expert and I have a little problem. In fact, in pfsense I wanted to create an new user for the openvpn but I created accidentally a new OpenVPN Server certificate.

When I go in system > Cert Manager and Certificate I see the wrong certificate but I can delete it. I see on the bottom of the page the note :

Note: You can only delete a certificate if it is not currently in use.

The certificate is currently in use apparently but I don't know how to delete it.

Can someone help me ?

Thanks for all & sorry for my english.

I fail to see what's your problem? How's a just created (by accident) certificate "in use"? What's your trouble with deleting it?

I say this to all you folks out there that fail to help newbies: Instead of being a difficult person (polite for an insult), why don't you help people with a proper answer. If you don't have an answer, don't post anything...

He was being helpful. It is exactly what needed to be said. Of all the choices of doktor posts to single out, that one was pretty tame.

If that offended you, well, good luck on the internet.

I would place more blame on the newbie who received a pertinent answer inside of 5 minutes then disappeared without so much as a thank you.
